What wounds can my mission heal?
This week Jordan and Zack are introduced to Alex by her husband, Christiaan (he's our guest from Ep. 14). Alex shares how she was not planning to serve a mission at all, and how serving in the "cradle of the restoration" changed her life. Alex shares what it was like to serve at a Church Historical site, give a tour to the cast of the Book of Mormon broadway cast, and the power of the Hill Cumorah Pageant. While growing up, Alex's brother Lance was tragically killed in a car accident. Alex concludes with her testimony, and the beauty of serving in a place where doctrines on life after death were revealed to Joseph Smith, and the personal significance that has on her.
